Todos aquellos que nos preocupamos por el Medio Ambiente estamos de enhorabuena. Un grupo de cerebros pensantes de Isla Plana nos surprised this week with a discovery that will change the history of the coast in general and Murcia in particular: a marina that has NO environmental impact!
These brains, water sports enthusiasts have formed a company that planned to build a marina with 650 berths (could it be that they have 650?) On the beach in La Calera (or Creek) between Isla Plana and La AzohÃa. But as today we all boats and that number is going to be short, the developer undertakes to make an extension to a total of 900. As good Samaritans, the project will create 8 jobs directly and 100 non-direct. Furthermore, the area chosen for the construction is designed to consciousness. According to Felix Martinez, one of the promoters is "the only free zone seagrass meadows and causes no environmental impact" (La Verdad, 20/10/2006 ed.impresa).
